JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 16-05-2019 The petitioner has a grievance against respondents No. 6 and 7, who were Circle Officer, Paliganj Circle, and Halka Karamchari, Paliganj Circle respectively, at the relevant point of time in the matter of a mutation proceeding. It is the petitioner's grievance that they had harassed the petitioner a lot in course of disposal of his mutation application and subsequent compliance of the order passed by the Deputy Collector Land Reforms, for mutation of the land.

Whether respondents No. 6 and 7 have committed any

Patna High Court CWJC No.9828 of 2019(2) dt.16-05-2019 2/2 such act, which constitutes misconduct, can be gone into only by the disciplinary authority. The petitioner does not have any legal right to get any disciplinary action initiated against them. Further, no direction for payment of compensation for harassment caused by the said respondents can be issued in a proceeding under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. The petitioner shall be at liberty to pursue his remedy before the appropriate forum in accordance with law.

This writ application stands disposed of.
