The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Bihta P.S. Case No. 275 of 2020, dated 17.04.2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 324, 504, 354, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.30371 of 2020(2) dt.18-12-2020 2/3 It has been alleged in the F.I.R. that one Bittu Kumar tried to outrage the modesty of the mother of the informant. When the informant reached the place of occurrence on the alarm call by his mother, the petitioner and another are said to have assaulted him by sharp cutting weapon.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the accusation against him is absolutely false. The petitioner is not alleged to have made any attempt at outraging the modesty of the mother of the informant. In fact, a dispute had arisen because of wrist watch in which the parties fought among themselves. It has further been submitted that in order to teach everybody a lesson, this kind of a case has been lodged by the informant. The injuries suffered by the informant are stated to be simple in nature.
The petitioner is a person of clean antecedents. Regard being had to the facts afore-stated, the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of
