Petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 307, 379 and some other ancillary Sections of the Indian Penal Code. As per the prosecution case, petitioner is alleged to have assaulted the informant with iron rod on his head causing simple injury.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the case. There is case and counter case and the present case is counter blast of Dumra PS case No. 173/ 2021 lodged by petitioner's side.

Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.
