The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Vaishali C2A Case No. 75 of 2020, for the offence under Sections 30(a)/32(1),(3) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The accusation is of recovery of several bottles of Indian made foreign liquor in volume of 1414.440 litres from the Dalan, which was meant for keeping goat, of the petitioner. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and the alleged Dalan from where the alleged bottles of Indian made foreign liquor are said to be recovered is a joint family Dalan

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.33074 of 2020(3) dt.27-01-2021 2/2 of the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 02.07.2020. Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum-Excise Court, Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Vaishali C2A Case No. 75 of 2020.
