The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case for the offence registered under Section 498(A) of the IPC. The prosecution story, in brief, is that the marriage of the complainant was solemnized with this petitioner Awadh Kumar as per Hindu rites in the year 2010 and at the time of marriage, some gift and cash amount have been given as per capacity and thereafter, she went to her Sasural and after performing her Dwiragaman, she went to Delhi where, allegedly, the petitioner alongwith other co-accused persons had been

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.54469 of 2018 (2) dt.01-10-2018 2/2 harassing and torturing the victim Sarita Kumari for and in connection with demand for dowry of Hero Honda Motorcycle and a golden chain and when on 05.11.2014 at about 3.00 P.M., the complainant's parents and brother visited Delhi for pacification where they were assaulted and the complainant was ousted from there after snatching her ornaments and clothes. This is second anticipatory bail application on behalf of the petitioner.

Earlier anticipatory bail application of the petitioner was rejected by the then Co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide Cr. Misc. No. 7676 of 2017 order dated 24.04.2017. I find no fresh ground to reconsider second anticipatory bail application of the petitioner. The same is rejected in connection with Complaint Case No. 997 of 2014, pending in the court of learned S.D.J.M., Arwal.

If the petitioner surrenders and prays for regular bail in the learned court below the same shall be considered and disposed of on its own merit without being prejudiced by this order of the Court.
