In this case, the petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Patrakar Nagar P.S. Case No. 690 of 2018 registered for offences under sections 20, 22, 24 of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act, 1985. As per First Information Report, the police has recovered brown sugar from the possession of the accused persons who were arrested by the police at the spot itself and, on interrogation, they have stated that they get the brown sugar from the petitioner.

The petitioner has criminal antecedent of two

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.31809 of 2019(2) dt.14-05-2019 2/2 criminal cases.

Looking to the nature of allegation as also considering the entire facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner, above named, is rejected.
