1. Heard the parties.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that relief regarding repatriation has become infructuous in view of the fact that the petitioner has now retired. IA No. 03 of 2024 has been filed for amendment in relief portion to the extent that arrear of salary, group insurance, and arrear of pension for the period 01.10.2020 to 30.06.2023 has not been paid for which a representation dated 23.09.2023 has been filed by the petitioner before the Registrar of the University.

3. Taking into consideration the nature of prayer made in the I.A., the same is allowed and I.A. is taken as forming part

4. Learned counsel for the University submits that since representation of the petitioner regarding his post-retiral claims is at Annexure P/59, the Registrar of the University may be directed to consider the same in accordance with law and pass a reasoned order.

5. Considering the nature of amended prayer regarding payment of post-retiral dues as explained in the representation of the petitioner at Annexure P/9, the writ application is disposed with a direction to the Registrar of the University/Respondent No. 7 to consider the claim of the petitioner in accordance with law and after giving opportunity of hearing pass a reasoned order within a period of four months from the date of receipt production of a copy of this order.

6. With the aforesaid direction, the present writ application is disposed.
