The petitioner pray for grant of anticipatory bail in connection with Banka P. S. Case no. 1024 of 2020 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 302/34 of the Penal Code and Section 27 of Arms Act.

The petitioner is named in the self-inculpatory statement of Pankaj Mandal of having participated in the killing of the deceased.
