The petitioner seeks bail in Muffasil (Singhaul) P.S. Case No. 602/2018, instituted for offence under Section(s) 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 27 of Arms Act.

Petitioner is husband of deceased.

It is alleged in the written report that on the date of occurrence son-in-law of informant informed him on mobile that his daughter has died as her hair got entangled with fan. Informant along with his son arrived at the house of his daughter and found her dead. The informant alleged that this petitioner has committed murder of his daughter due to non-

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.32807 of 2019(3) dt.17-07-2019 2/2 fulfillment of demand of dowry. The informant further alleged that his daughter was married with this petitioner on 19.04.2018. After marriage she was tortured in her Sasural for demand of Rs. 50,000/- and a motorcycle.

Case diary has been received, wherein informant has supported the allegation against this petitioner. Post-mortem report is available in case diary, wherein doctor has found cause of injury due to firearm. One injury was found over angle of mouth just below 2cm of mandible. Police submitted charge-sheet under Sections 302, 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Considering the fact that daughter of informant died in her Sasural within six months of her marriage under suspicious circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for bail of petitioner is rejected.
