The petitioner, in this writ petition, seeks direction to the respondents for payment of arrears of salary and other emoluments for which the petitioner is entitled in terms of UGC pay scale.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that University has already filed counter affidavit and admitted the claim of the petitioner but on account of non release of fund by the State Government the payment could not be made. Having considered the submissions of both sides, this

Patna High Court CWJC No.18914 of 2016(7) dt.22-01-2020 2/2 writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the University as well as the Education Department, Government of Bihar to make sure that payment of arrears on account of implementation of UGC scale be made to the petitioner within a period of four months from the date of receipt of this order. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
