2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered under Sections 87 and 140(3) of the B.N.S.

3. The allegation is that the petitioner eloped the informant's wife alluring her to marry with him.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. The victim is a married woman having two children. The victim, in her statement recorded under Section 183 of the B.N.S.S., has stated that she had fled away due to torture made by her husband. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he undertakes to cooperate in the investigation and the trial.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.31076 of 2026(2) dt.07-05-2026 2/2 anticipatory bail.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, submissions of learned counsel for the parties, nature of allegation against the petitioner, statement of the victim and the fact that petitioner has clean antecedent, in the event of arrest or surrender before the Court below within six weeks from today, the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned District and Additional Sessions Judge-1st, Hilsa, Nalanda in connection with Chiksaura P.S. Case No.174 of 2025, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
