2. The instance application for regular bail has been filed by the petitioner in connection with Bhangaha P.S. Case No. 55 of 2022 instituted for the offence u/s 20, 22, 23, 24, 27 of the N.D.P.S. Act.

3. Earlier the application for regular bail of the petitioner was rejected by order dated 13.9.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 9119 of 2023 with a direction to expedite the trial and conclude the same at the earliest.

4. In pursuance to the direction of this Court, a report dt. 20.5.2024 with regard to the present stage of trial has been received by which it appears that the case is fixed for recording

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.33812 of 2024(3) dt.05-07-2024 2/2 the statement of accused under section 313 of the Cr.P.C., and the trial will be concluded within two months, if the defence supports.

5. No fresh ground is made for reconsideration of the regular bail application of the petitioner, as such, his prayer is rejected.

6. Accordingly, this application stands disposed off.

7. However, learned trial court is directed to expedite and conclude the trial within a period of two months, failing which the petitioner may renew his prayer of bail.

8. The petitioner is also directed to co-operate in the trial.
