2. The present writ petition has been preferred for the following relief(s):

(i) for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing the Respondent No. 2 SLC to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 21.05.2021 (Annexure-3) filed by the petitioner to permission to the Licensing Officer to grant new saw mill license to the petitioner in terms of the decision of the State Level Committee dated 21.07.2020 as the application for grant of license dated 11.12.1996 of the petitioner under the Bihar Saw Mills (Regulation) Rules, 1993 is still pending

Patna High Court CWJC No.8239 of 2023(2) dt.18-07-2024 2/2 for consideration before the Licensing Officer; (ii) For issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the Respondents not to interfere the operation of saw mills of the Petitioner till such time the decision is taken by the SLC regarding the grant of license in the facts and circumstances of the case.

3. In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent No. 2 to dispose of the representation of the petitioner which is pending since 21.05.2021 (Annexure-3) within a period of three months from the date, a copy of the order is produced before the concerned respondent.

4. The writ petition stands disposed of.
