1. Heard learned Counsel for the parties concerned.

2. At the outset, learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have filed the present writ application for a direction to the respondents to grant them grade pay of Rs. 4,800/- by virtue of their promotion in the trained graduate scale. The petitioners are getting the pay scale of Rs. 9,300/- to 34,800/-, in the grade pay of Rs. 4,600/-.

3. Learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that the

Patna High Court CWJC No.2263 of 2016(8) dt.28-03-2024 2/2 petitioners propose to file a fresh representation before the respondent no. 2, the District Education Officer, Gopalganj, for redressal of their grievance within a period of four weeks.

4. Learned Counsel for the State submits that if the representation is filed by the petitioners, the same shall be considered by the respondent no. 2 within a reasonable period of time.

5. Having heard learned Counsel for the parties concerned, the present writ application is disposed with liberty to the petitioners to file a fresh representation before the respondent no. 2, the District Education Officer, Gopalganj, within a period of four weeks from today, and if such a representation is filed, the respondent no. 2 is directed to consider and dispose the same in accordance with law by a reasoned order within a maximum period of three months from the date of filing of the representation.
