The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 149, 341, 323, 504, 506, 379 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code. The allegation against the petitioner is that he assaulted the informant by means of iron rod as a result of which she sustained injury on frontal part of skull. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. Petitoner has got clean antecedent.

Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Under the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to grant

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.40493 of 2021(3) dt.26-04-2022 2/2 anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.

However, petitioner is directed to surrender before the court below and pray for regular bail.
