1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That the present writ application is being filed or issuance of an appropriate writ(s)/order(s)/direction(s) in the nature of Certiorari or any other appropriate writ(s) for a quashing and setting aside Letter No.

R.O/PURN/LAW2015-2016/83 dated 12.08.2015 issued by the Respondent No. 2 by which he has dismissed the representation of the petitioner filed in compliance of Order dated 17.04.2015 passed in

Patna High Court CWJC No.9620 of 2023(2) dt.11-12-2023 2/2 C.W.J.C. No. 290 of 1999 by this Hon'ble Court. II. That the present writ application is being filed for issuance of an appropriate writ(s)/order(s)/ direction(s) in the nature of Certiorari or any other appropriate writ(s) for a quashing and setting aside the Order dated 18.04.1998 passed by the Appellate Authority (herein respondent no. 5), by which he has passed order confirming the punishment against the petitioner.

III. That the present writ application is being filed for issuance of an appropriate writ(s)/order(s)/ direction(s) in the nature of Certiorari or any other appropriate writ(s) for a quashing and setting aside the punishment of dismissal vide Letter No. RODAW/95-97-22 dated 03.05.1995 by which the petitioner has been dismissed from service without notice."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
