2. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the present writ petition has been filed for directing the respondents to appoint the petitioner on the post of Gramin Awas Sahayak under Araria Block.

3. It transpires to this Court that this advertisement has been made in the light of Annexure-D and this appointment has been made only for contractual period of one year. The date of the said advertisement is 03.10.2013 and the contractual appointment is only for one year. Presently, due to pendency of the writ petition, 12 years have already been lapsed. As such, Court is of the view that the present case has become infructuous.

4. Accordingly, the present writ petition is hereby disposed off as having become infructuous.
