2. The petitioner has filed the instant application for direction to the respondents to issue detailed marksheet and to furnish cut-off marks of the examination for recruitment on the post of Assistant Administrative Officer held on 18th May, 2013.

3. Having perused the contents of the petition, it transpires that being aggrieved by his non-selection on the post of Assistant Administrative Officer in the year 2013, the petitioner preferred the instant application demanding the marks

Patna High Court CWJC No.16229 of 2013(6) dt.10-12-2025 2/3 obtained by the petitioner, the cut-off marks for his category and making allegations of bungling, manipulation and malpractices in the selection process.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the Life Insurance Corporation of India in reference to the statement made in the counter affidavit submits that the petitioner belongs to the Unreserved category. While the petitioner obtained 194 marks, the last person selected in the petitioner's category ie the cut-off was 277. Hence the petitioner was not selected. With respect to the other allegations levelled by the petitioner, it is submitted that the allegations are vague and unsubstantiated. In view of the above, learned counsel submits that the application be dismissed.

Having perused the contents of the petition and having heard learned counsel for the respondent L.I.C, the Court is of the opinion that the allegations of bungling etc. in the conduct of examination remains unsubstantiated in the writ application. The petitioner, if so advised, would be required to file an appropriate application in the trial Court by way of a suit wherein the allegations will need to be proved by leading evidence.

6. So far as the selection is concerned, the petitioner

7. The Court finds no illegality in the action of the respondents nor any merit in the writ application.

8. The application is dismissed.
