2. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Shastri Nagar P.S. Case No. 976 of 2024 for the offences punishable under Sections 331(1)/305 & 61(1) of B.N.S. lodged on 17.12.2024 by the informant, Arvind Ujjwal.
3. As per the prosecution story, the informant alleged that while he was in Patna High Court, an information came from his wife to reach home immediately. On reaching there, it was informed that accused persons trespassed in their house and took away valuables worth Rs. 10,00,000/- beside all important documents of the informant, this led to the FIR.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that only on suspicion, he has been picked up and has already remained in custody since 23.12.2024.
5. In this case, co-ordinate bench had called for the case diary which has now available on record.
6. Learned APP has taken this Court to the confessional statement of Md. Junaid in which he has described all the facts,

As they were retreating, the wife of the informant reached but they made the statement that they are TV mechanic and escaped. In his confessional statement, he further stated that this petitioner was wearing a white mask. It is to be recorded that in the FIR, the lady had given the description of one of the accused as a person wearing the white mask.
7. Learned APP has taken this Court to different paragraphs to show that the place from where both Md. Junaid and this petitioner were picked up, the recovery of number of materials that were stolen from house of the concerned lawyer which included their Identity Cards, the Voter ID Card, the Aadhar Card as also the Unique Disability ID No of the daughter were made.
8. Considering the submissions of the parties as also the role that has been assigned to the petitioner beside the fact that he has criminal antecedent mostly of the same nature, this Court is not inclined to extend him privilege of bail which is accordingly rejected.
