Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Muzaffarpur Town P.S. Case No. 188 of 2021 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 366-A, 504 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code 1860.
The petitioner has allegedly supported the co-accused Sonu Kumar in abduction of the victim/minor daughter of the informant.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has not committed any offence in the manner alleged and he has falsely been implicated in this case only because he

He next submits that this Court had directed the Senior Superintendent of Police, Muzaffarpur, to submit a report regarding the steps taken by the Police for recovery of the kidnapped minor daughter of the informant and in pursuance thereof, this Court had directed for personal appearance of the Senior Superintendent of Police, Muzaffarpur. The SSP, Muzaffarpur, is present in Court and a show cause has been filed by him stating in paragraphs-6 and 7 that a Special Investigation Team was constituted and the victim girl namely, Kajal Kumari, has been recovered from Navi Mumbai along with co-accused Sonu Kumar with the help of local police.
On the other hand, learned counsel for the informant opposed the prayer for bail and submits that the petitioner is named in the First Information Report and has supported the main accused in abduction of the minor daughter of the informant.
Regards being had to the submission made by the parties and taking into consideration the materials on record, the fact that the minor daughter of the informant has been recovered from the house of co-accused Sonu Kumar, the petitioner is in custody since 10.3.2021 having no criminal antecedent and
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.41116 of 2021(5) dt.18-05-2022 3/3 charge sheet has already been submitted, I am inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.
Accordingly, let the petitioner, above named, be released on regular bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Muzaffarpur, in connection with Muzaffarpur Town P.S. Case No. 188 of 2021.
The personal appearance of the Senior Superintendent of Police, Muzaffarpur, is dispensed with.
