JUSTICE ASHOK KUMAR PANDEY ORAL ORDER 16-05-2025 The present petition has been filed for modification of the order dated 13.12.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 85576 of 2024 to the extent of extending the period of surrender.
2. It appears that vide order dated 13.12.2024, the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail with a direction to surrender before the Court below within a period of four weeks but he could not surrender before the Court below within the stipulated period of time.
3. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that due to some unavoidable circumstances, the petitioner could not surrender and furnish the bail bonds on
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.32348 of 2025(2) dt.16-05-2025 2/2 time.
4. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the submissions made on behalf of the petitioner and the content of the modification application, this court is inclined to allow the prayer of the petitioner.
5. The order dated 13.12.2024 in Cr. Misc. No. 85576 of 2024 is modified and the time granted to the petitioner in the said order to surrender in the Court below is extended by a further period of four weeks from today.
6. The remaining part of the order shall remain unchanged.
7. The application stands allowed to the above extent.
