The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Dumra P.S. Case No.247 of 2021, registered for the offence punishable under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is said to have snatched mobile phone of the informant and purse of his wife.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. It is submitted that the petitioner has got one criminal antecedent as stated in paragraph-3 of the bail application. It is further submitted that the petitioner is not named in the FIR. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner. During investigation, one apprehended

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.31990 of 2022(2) dt.14-09-2022 2/2 person disclosed the name of the petitioner and on that basis, the petitioner is made accused in the present case. Learned APP for the State opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.

Taking into consideration the nature of offence, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
