The petitioner is in custody since 01.05.2022 in connection with Dariyapur P.S. Case No.227 of 2022 registered for offences under Sections 272, 273 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(a)/33 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

There is recovery of 1790.28 litres of foreign liquor from the truck, one pickup van and two motorcycles and not from conscious possession of the petitioner.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has clean antecedent and he is in custody since 01.05.2022, he shall be released on bail, after framing of charge or on completion of one year in custody whichever is later, on furnishing bail bonds

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.31804 of 2022(2) dt.20-08-2022 2/2 of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Judge Excise Saran in connection with Dariyapur P.S. Case No.227 of 2022 .

The petitioner will visit Dariyapur Police Station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
