This application is filed for grant of regular bail in connection with Madhepura Excise P.S. Case No. 255 of 2023 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that there is recovery of 189.75 litres of foreign liquor and also the petitioners are in custody since 28.03.2023.

Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.33751 of 2023(2) dt.23-05-2023 2/2 bail.

Considering the period of custody, this application for regular bail is allowed.

Let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-VII-cum-Special Judge Excise-II, Madhepura in connection with Madhepura Excise P.S. Case No. 255 of 2023.
