JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 16-01-2019 This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for quashing the First Information Report of Vigilance P.S.Case No. 121 of 2016 registered after preliminary inquiry conducted by the Vigilance for the offences punishable under Sections 13(2) read with 13(1)(e) of the Prevention of Corruption Act. 2.

On perusal of the FIR, it would reveal that between the year 2009 and the date of institution of the FIR i.e. 14.11.2016 the petitioner was elected chairman of Fatehpur Primary Agriculture Credit Co-operative Society (for short 'PACCS'). While working as the chairman of the PACCS, he is alleged to
