The petitioner is in custody in connection with Laheri P.S. Case No. 226 of 2018 for the offences under Sections 461 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner is that he was involved in looting the cash of Rs.1,69,500/- with the ATM of Axis Bank.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner was not named in the F.I.R and his name surfaced on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused Md. Nihal. He further submits that petitioner is in custody since 19.11.2018. Considering the fact that petitioner was not named in the F.I.R., the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
