2. The grievance of the petitioner namely, Gaytri Devi wife of late Bipin Kumar Singh, is with regard to her non appointment in Class-IV post on compassionate ground on account of her husband having died in harness while
Patna High Court CWJC No.2614 of 2017 dt.05-12-2024 2/3 working as Peon in the Civil Court, Purnea.
3. Counter affidavit filed by the respondents and the reply to the counter affidavit filed by the petitioner are on record.
4. Today, learned counsel for the Patna High Court has produced Letter No. 6544 of 2024 written to the Register General of this Court by the Principal District & Sessions Judge, Purnea informing that the petitioner namely, Gaytri Devi wife of late Bipin Kumar Singh has been appointed on compassionate ground on the post of Attendand (Peon) vide General Order No. 38 of 2019 dated 01.07.2019 issued by the District Judge, Purnea. The appointment order dated 01.07.2019 issued by the District Judge, Purnea under General Order No. 38 of 2019 vide Memo No. 4328-35 have also been enclosed along with the aforesaid letter.
5. In that view of matter, it appears that the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed.
6. Under the circumstances, this writ petition shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
7. Copy of the aforesaid letter as well as the
Patna High Court CWJC No.2614 of 2017 dt.05-12-2024 3/3 appointment order produced by the learned standing counsel for the High Court shall form part of record of this writ petition which shall be marked as X and X-1 for identification.
