This Criminal Miscellaneous has been filed for modification of order dated 01.07.2020 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 81505 of 2019, whereby and whereunder, the petitioner was allowed privilege of pre-arrest bail in connection with Dagarua P.S. Case No. 44 of 2019 (Special POCSO Case No. 22 of 2019) pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I-cum-Special Judge, POCSO Act, Purnea.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf petitioner submits that due to pandemic of COVID-19 and illness, the petitioner could not surrender before the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I-cum-Special Judge, POCSO Act,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.25900 of 2020(2) dt.09-10-2020 2/2 Purnea in time, as stipulated in the order dated 01.07.2020. In such view of the matter, let the time to surrender of the petitioner as ordered on 01.07.2020 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 81505 of 2019 be further extended by four weeks from today.

Accordingly, the modification application is allowed and the order dated 01.07.2020 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 81505 of 2019 is modified to the above extent.
