JUSTICE SANJEEV PRAKASH SHARMA ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 23-03-2023 The petitioner by way of this writ petition challenges the allotment of fair-price shop license on compassionate ground to Respondent No. 6 on the death of his father and submits that the petitioner's father was aged about 80 years. In support of the said submission, he has not placed any document on record. The bald assertion made by the petitioner has been countenanced by the Respondents-State who have conducted an inquiry with regard to the age aspect and found that late father of the respondent was less than 55 years of age

Accordingly, this Court finds that the license granted to Respondent No. 6 does not warrant any interference. The writ petition is wholly frivolous and is accordingly dismissed.
