This application has been filed for modification of the order dated 17.10.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 44374 of 2017 (Annexure-1), whereby and whereunder petitioner was granted anticipatory bail in connection with Town P.S. Case No. 359 of 2016 to the satisfaction of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, XIII, Chapra, Saran.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is a poor labourer and works in Mumbai and he did not get information regarding his bail, and as such, he could not surrender within the time stipulated by this Court. Learned counsel prays that the time granted for surrender be extended.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.58526 of 2018(2) dt.19-09-2018 2/2 Considering the submissions advanced on behalf of the petitioner, the time granted for surrender is, hereby, extended by another two weeks from today.

The order dated 17.10.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 44374 of 2017 is modified to the extent indicated above. This modification application, accordingly, stands allowed.
