2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Gopalganj P.S. Case No. 779 of 2024 for the offence registered under sections 126(2), 115(2), 118(1), 109, 352 of the BNS, 2023 lodged on 30.10.2024 by the informant, Mohan Sharma.

3. As per the prosecution story, the informant alleged that his brother, Abhishek Sharma was standing when the petitioner came and gave knife blow on his body, back, head and other parts, he was shifted to Sadar Hospital, Gopalganj for treatment. This led to the FIR.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the

No.30890 of 2025(2) dt.20-05-2025 2/2 injuries have not been found to be grievous in nature whereas learned APP opposing the prayer submit that a perusal of the learned Sessions Judge order would show that number of injuries have been recorded and it is not only one off stab by the petitioner.

5. Considering the submissions of the parties as also the fact that the allegation is that he gave repeated blow to the brother of the informant, in that background, it would be appropriate that he seek bail.

6. Accordingly, the anticipatory bail application stands rejected.
