The petitioner is accused in connection with Patna Junction Rail P.S. Case No. 374 of 2019/Special case No. 69 of 2019 registered under sections 404/414 of the I.P.C. and section 21(b) of N.D.P.S. Act pending in the Court of Additional District and Sessions Judge-XXII, Patna.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that earlier prayer of the petitioner for bail was rejected by this Court vide Cr. Misc. No. 44666 of 2020 on 23.01.2020. Further submission is that petitioner is in custody since 02.07.2019. Learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State opposed the prayer of the petitioner by contending that earlier prayer of the petitioner for bail was rejected by this Court on

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.30817 of 2020(3) dt.03-03-2021 2/2 merit. Now, there is no fresh ground in the present case. Having considered the above facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to allow the prayer of the petitioner for bail. Accordingly, prayer for grant of regular bail of the petitioner is again rejected. However, trial court is directed to conclude the trial within a period of six months.

Liberty is granted to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail, if the trial is not concluded within the aforesaid period.
