The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Special Case No.288 of 2018 arising out of Tedhagachh P.S. Case No.112 of 2012 registered under Section 272 of Indian Penal Code and 47(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The informant after having received secret information raided the house of Peltu Lal Bosak and Hira Lal Bosak(the petitioner). From the house of the petitioner, 17.920 litres of liquor was recovered.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that house belongs to the joint family and petitioner is not responsible for keeping the liquor in the house. Taking into consideration the fact that about 18 litres of liquor was recovered from the house of the petitioner, I am
