2. The petitioners have prayed for the following reliefs:
(i) for issuance of an appropriate writ or directions directing the respondent authorities to mutate the name of the petitioners pursuant to order dated 14.1.2004 passed by the Respondent No.4 after proper
Patna High Court CWJC No.5020 of 2017(2) dt.14-05-2024 2/3 verification and accordance with law and set aside the further proceeding in the matter started by Miscellaneous Case No.15/2004 by order dated 30.8.2006 passed by Respondent No.3 on an erroneous forwarding by the Respondent No.4 on the issue which has already been decided and decreed by competent civil court in a regular title suit which attend finality in the year 1985 itself and for grant any other relief or reliefs for which petitioners are found entitle in the eye of law.
3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submit that it will suffice, if his petition before the Collector, Gaya is taken to its logical conclusion. It is his submission that he will be filing a fresh petition alongwith all the supporting documents.
4. Learned State Counsel submits that in case such petition is filed, the same will be taken into consideration.
5. In view of the limited prayer made by the learned
Patna High Court CWJC No.5020 of 2017(2) dt.14-05-2024 3/3 counsel for the petitioners, the writ petition is disposed of with observation that if the petitioners prefer a proper petition alongwith supporting documents before the respondent no.2, the Collector, Gaya he shall look into the matter and after hearing the concerned parties and perusing the record will take the matter to its logical conclusion within a period of six months thereafter.
6. The writ petition stands disposed of.
