====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 12-01-2021 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and State. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Jamui Mahila P.S. Case No. 77 of 2019 for the offence under Sections 376, 511, 341, 323, 354, 504 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the POCSO Act.
Considering the materials available on record, the Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, his prayer for grant of bail is rejected.
However, the trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same in all respect within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Superintendent of Police, Jamui is directed to take steps for production of all prosecution witnesses for their examination, so that the trial may be concluded within the time

In the event, the trial is not concluded within the aforesaid period, the petitioner shall be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail.
