The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Rajiv Nagar P.S. Case No. 87 of 2019 instituted for the offences under Sections 353, 504, 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that for the same offence, four different cases have been lodged against the petitioner at the instance of his political opponents and in three out of those cases, the petitioner has been granted anticipatory bail. In one other case, the police has found the accusation to be false.

No.30317 of 2020(2) dt.17-12-2020 2/3 It has been alleged in the First Information Report by one Assistant Regional Officer, Bihar State Housing Cooperative Federation Ltd. that the petitioner and his associates have forcefully occupied a plot of land and are trying to carry out construction for appropriating the land. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the accusation is absolutely false. It has further been stated that Bihar State Housing Co-operative Federation Ltd. is not a genuine company. It has no registration with the Bihar State Government.
The Managing Director of Bihar State Housing Board vide his letter dated 11.10.2019 has intimated the Collector of Patna that the Bihar State Housing Co-operative Federation Ltd. is meddling with the land of the Housing Board in an unauthorized manner. The office bearers of the said Bihar State Housing Co-operative Federation Ltd, it has been alleged, are themselves at fault and only because wires are being pulled from behind by the political opponents of the petitioner, he has been made accused in this case.
