For the Petitioner/s : Mr. Bibhakar Tiwari, Adv. Mr. Ram Uday Kr. Singh For the State : Mr. R.B. Roy 'Raman', A.P.P. =========================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE JUSTICE SMT. ANJANA PRAKASH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 18-05-2015 Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and the State. The Petitioner seeks revision of the Judgment of conviction in Appeal dated 30.11.2002 passed by the Sessions Judge, Rohtas at Sasaram, in Criminal Appeal No. 84 of 2002 by which he has upheld the conviction of the Appellant and sentenced him to undergo 7 years rigorous imprisonment.
Having gone through the Judgment of conviction, I do not find any merit in the application.
Hence, the revision is dismissed on merits.
However, considering that the occurrence is of the year 2001 and the Petitioner has already remained in custody for about four years, the sentence is modified to the period already undergone by him.
Patna High Court CR. REV. No.216 of 2003 dt.18-05-2015 2/2 With this modification in sentence, the application is dismissed.
