ANJANA PRAKASH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 26-06-2015 The Petitioner seeks revision of the judgment of conviction dated 21.09.2002 passed by the 3rd Additional Sessions Judge, West Champaran at Bettiah in Criminal Appeal No. 50 of 1996, by which he has affirmed the judgment dated 09.07.1996 passed by the Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, West Champaran at Bettiah in Complaint Case No. 203C of 1994 (Tr. No. 1210 of 1996), by which he has convicted the Petitioner under Section 489A IPC and sentenced him to undergo R.I. for two years.

Having gone through the judgment of conviction, I do not find any merit in the application.

However, in view of the period of custody and the date of occurrence, the sentence is modified to the period already undergone by the Petitioner.

With the aforesaid observations, the application stands dismissed.
