The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Goraul (Kathara O.P.) P.S. Case No. 312 of 2019 dated 31.08.2019 instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 149, 333, 337, 338, 341, 323, 353, 307, 427, 504, 506 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioners are amongst the 28 named accused persons and 70-80 unnamed accused persons. The accusation against the petitioners are of general and omnibus nature.

It has been submitted on behalf of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.30364 of 2020(2) dt.17-12-2020 2/2 petitioners that a couple of days prior to the occurrence, there was a theft in the house of petitioner no. 2 for which a case was lodged but the police was critical of the petitioner no. 2 because he had inquired about progress in the investigation of the aforesaid case.

Be it noted that petitioner no. 2 is the Manager of C.S.P. Bank of Baroda, Premraj, Vaishali. Regard being had to the nature of accusation and the background facts, the petitioners are directed to be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-I, Vaishali in connection with Goraul (Kathara O.P.) P.S. Case No. 312 of 2019, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
