This is an application for regular bail on behalf of the petitioner for the offences alleged under Sections 498(A), 304(B), 120(B) and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code registered in connection with Darbhanga Sadar (Bhalpatti O.P.) P.S.Case No. 889 of 2022.

As per allegation, the marriage of the daughter of the informant was solemnized with the son of the petitioner on 01.06.2022. When her daughter went to her Sasural, her husband, mother-in-law and sister-in-law demanded Rs. 1,00,000/- cash and a motor-cycle. They inflicted atrocities on the victim for non-fulfilment of dowry demand. The informant gave Rs.20,000/-to the husband of the deceased. On 25.12.2022, she received an information about the death her daughter. She went there and saw the dead-body of her daughter and noticed

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that she is innocent. She is the mother-in-law of the deceased having no concern with the matrimonial affairs of the couple. The petitioner has been made accused merely because she is mother of the husband of the deceased. She is in custody since 20.03.2023.

Considering the above facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, above-named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned CJM, Darbhanga in connection with Darbhanga Sadar (Bhalpatti O.P.) P.S.Case No. 889 of 2022, subject to the following conditions:-

1. The petitioner shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make herself available as and when required by the court.

2. The petitioner shall appear in the court below till framing of charge.
