The matter has been listed under the heading 'For Orders' under the orders of Hon'ble the Chief Justice. Heard the parties.

Following reliefs have been sought for in paragraph 1 of the present application on behalf of the petitioners: (i) For a direction to the respondents authorities to grant retiral dues to the petitioners regarding the retiral

Patna High Court CWJC No.18389 of 2018(3) dt.22-09-2020 2/2 dues of the father of the petitioners such as gratuity, unutilised earned leave, group insurance, G.P.F. or any other dues admissible to the father of the petitioners at the time of his death, and (ii) for a direction to the respondents to grant family pension to the petitioners who are suffering from financial hardship due to the death of his father who was only the earning member of the family. Considering the reliefs sought for in the present writ application, the petitioners are directed to file a representation before the competent authority. On filing of such representation, the competent authority shall consider the case of the petitioners and pass appropriate order in accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of filing of such representation.

With the aforesaid observation/direction, the present writ application stands disposed of.
