The petitioner seeks bail in Siwaipatti P.S. Case No. 39 of 2011, registered for the offence under Section 147, 148, 149, 307 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 3 / 4 of Explosive Substances Act and Section 17 of C.L.A. Act.

As per the F.I.R., some Maoists committed land mines blast, as a result of which, several persons got injured. It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that name of the petitioner came during course of investigation only on suspicion that he is also a member of Maoist group. Petitioner is in custody since 23.09.2019.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition.
