The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ application is non payment of salary.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioner submits that petitioner was appointed as Assistant Teacher on 05.02.1978 and the service of the petitioner was approved by the Bihar Sanskrit Shiksha Board on 01.01.1985 alongwith other teachers. If the service of the petitioner has been approved by the Sanskrit Shiksha Board then the District Education Officer is required to ensure payment of salary to the petitioner.

Patna High Court CWJC No.6537 of 2017(3) dt.25-07-2019 2/2 Considering the undisputed factual position of approval of the service of the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the District Education Officer, Supaul to take step for payment of salary of the petitioner/teachers whose service has been approved by the Bihar Sanskrit Shiksha Board.

Necessary decision in this regard must be taken by the respondent no.2 at the earliest preferably within a maximum period of 60 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

With the aforesaid, the writ application stands disposed of.
