The petitioners are in custody since 11.03.2022 in connection with Araria P.S. Case No.199 of 2022 registered for offences under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
There is recovery of 1440 litres of foreign liquor from Mahindra Bolero pickup van and not from conscious possession of the petitioners.
Considering the fact that the petitioners have clean antecedent and they are in custody since 11.03.2022, they shall be released on bail, after framing of charge or on completion

No.31689 of 2022(2) dt.20-08-2022 2/2 of one year in custody whichever is later, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Excise Judge 1st, Araria in connection with Araria P.S. Case No.199 of 2022.
The petitioners will visit Araria Police Station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioners.
