1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned APP for the State.

2. The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 354, 307, 324, 379, 504 of the IPC in connection with Kanti P.S. Case No.289 of 2017.

3. This is the second attempt of the petitioner to seek anticipatory bail, as the petitioner had moved earlier before this Court seeking anticipatory bail by filing Cr. Misc. No.58571 of 2017 and the same came to be rejected by an order dated 23.01.2018, thereafter, again the instant anticipatory bail application has been filed in the year 2024 on the ground that the case in between the petitioner and the informant stands compromised.

4. The Court is not inclined to entertain the second

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.36189 of 2024(2) dt.30-08-2024 2/2 anticipatory bail application, further Section 307 of the IPC is not compoundable and it appears that the petitioner is contesting a leisure litigation.

5. Accordingly, the anticipatory bail application is rejected.
