JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 21-10-2020 The present petition has been filed for modification of the order dated 01.07.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 14490 of 2020 to the extent that the time granted to the petitioner to surrender before the learned court below, which has already stood expired, be extended.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that on account of the prevailing situation in view of the COVID- 19 Pandemic, the petitioner could not surrender before the learned court below within the stipulated period of four weeks, however, he undertakes to surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from today.

No.25821 of 2020(2) dt.21-10-2020 2/2 Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and taking into account the averments made in the present petition, I deem it fit and proper to extend the time granted to the petitioner earlier, to surrender before the learned court of C.J.M., East Champaran at Motihari, in connection with Complaint Case No. C-703 of 2019, by a further period of four weeks from today.

Accordingly, the order dated 01.07.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 14490 of 2020 stands modified to the aforesaid extent.

The petition stands disposed of.
