Heard Mr. Devendra Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Md. Aslam Ansari, learned counsel for the State. This is an application seeking quashing of the F.I.R of Parihar P.S. Case No. 45/2015 dated 20.03.2015 instituted for the offence under Section 135 of the Electricity Act.

A report was called for from the court below about the stage of the case on 21.03.2018. The report has since been received, which indicates that the case is pending before the court for appearance of the accused.

In that view of the matter nothing remains in this petition to be adjudicated upon as it has become infructuous. This petition stands dismissed as having become infructuous. However, the petitioner would be at liberty to avail of the remedies available to him under the law.
