The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Gaighat P.S. Case No. 140 of 2019 for the offence under Sections 7 and 8 of the POCSO Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner, who is of clean antecedent, is innocent and has not committed any offence. In fact, the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case and the petitioner has not committed any overt act with the victim. No occurrence as alleged in the F.I.R. have ever took place. No medical report is available on record which shows any assault on the body of the victim. The petitioner is rotting in judicial custody since
