1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That the present application is being filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus commanding the respondents-authorities to extend the physical as well as social protection to the petitioner and her family from the dare-devil and criminal actions by and at the instance of the private respondent and his accomplices

Patna High Court CWJC No.8410 of 2024(2) dt.22-07-2024 2/2 as well as family members taking the local police (mainly respondent no.7) and the local medical officer (mainly respondent no.8) and for issuance of appropriate writ/direction by undoing a bunch of the false & frivolous prosecutions loaded on the unsuspecting petitioner & family by and at the instance of the private respondent and his accomplices."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of her aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. The writ petition stands disposed off.
