Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered under Sections 147, 341, 323, 504, 506, 379 & 307 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegedly, while the informant was at his Bathan, all of a sudden, all the accused persons named in the FIR including this petitioner came with variously armed and assaulted him. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. There is no allegation of tampering of witnesses alleged against the petitioner. The

No specific overt act is alleged against the petitioner. The specific allegation of assault is against co-accused namely Sanjay Singh.

On behalf of the State, it is submitted that the petitioner is named in the Complaint Case/F.I.R.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Munger in connection with Muffasil P.S.
